The Stainless Steel World Americas team is excited to announce the third bi-annual Managing Aging Plants USA Conference and Expo, taking place on October 6th to 7th, 2020 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, U.S.A.

The two-day event will bring together Principal Engineers, Materials Engineers, Corrosion Engineers, Metallurgists, Reliability Inspectors, Asset Integrity Managers, and Maintenance Directors to explore a vast range of subject related to the management of aging plants and infrastructures. With both a conference and exhibition, the event will be an opportunity for anyone connected to the oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, water and wastewater, and energy sectors to discuss the most relevant issues faced in managing aging plants and learn about how the industry is working to overcome them.

A meeting point

The Managing Aging Plants USA Conference and Expo looks forward to welcoming exhibitors, presenters, delegates, and attendees from across the globe. Attendees will get a broad overview of the latest technologies, components, systems, and inspections used for the management of aging plants and infrastructures. The event will serve as a meeting point for manufacturers, inspectors, operators and end-users, and will showcase the growth in interest by exhibitors and attendees who will experience the dynamic conference program, product showcases on the expo floor, and incredible networking opportunities.

A dynamic conference experience

The Managing Aging Plants USA event will cover a variety of topics including managing aging infrastructure, management challenges, corrosion-resistant alloys (CRAs)/materials, failure mechanisms, maintenance strategies, inspections, and new technologies. Each day of the conference will begin with keynote presentations, and will continue with workshop sessions throughout the day.

Sessions will feature presentations from industry leaders looking to share the knowledge and expertise with the industry, and will include time for the audience ask the presenters questions and have technically in-depth discussions. For attendees looking to attain professional development hours, certificates of completion for participation will be awarded at the end of the conference.
